HERMITAGE, Pa. -- The Mercer County Amateur Radio Club will demonstrate their talents and abilities from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Shenango Valley Mall.
The demonstration will take place outside the mall entrance closest to customer service.
This will be a family event in which the amateur operators will show their skills and ability to communicate around the world and the roll they play in emergencies.

Cemetery decorations
EAST PALESTINE -- Flowers and decorations at Glenview Cemetery must be removed by Oct. 15 or they will be discarded.
Fall and winter decorations may be placed on the graves as of Nov. 1.
