Sept. 22
Recovered property: A stolen 1992 Olds Cutlass Ciera was recovered in the Dillard's parking lot at Southern Park Mall.
Burglary: A man in the 100 block of Meadowbrook Avenue said his residence was burglarized while he slept.
Burglary: A woman discovered a door connecting her garage to her residence in the 200 block of Argyle Avenue had been opened.
Arrest: A 25-year-old Boardman man was arrested at National City Bank, 3939 Market St., on a charge of misuse of a credit card after a Boardman woman reported more than $17,000 worth of unauthorized purchases were made with her Visa card.
Theft: A woman reported her purse stolen from her vehicle parked at the Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St.
Vandalism: A man reported two windows broken and $400 in damage to a camper's door and right side while it was parked in the 300 block of Mathews Road.
Theft: A man reported an in-dash compact-disc player removed from his mother's car at Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A Youngstown man reported 20 photocopies of his artwork stolen while he was at Kinko's, 48 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A woman reported a $40 flag stolen from her residence in the 400 block of Orlo Lane.
Theft: Police arrested a 27-year-old Boardman woman on a theft charge after a pair of brown shoes and two pins were stolen from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Assault: A student at Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave., reported being assaulted during a fight at school. He had a cut above his left eye.
Theft: Police arrested a Columbia, S.C., woman and a Midland, Pa., woman, both 18, on theft charges after three women's undergarments, two tubes of lip gloss, a hat and another item were stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Identity theft: A West Boulevard man reported losing his wallet and said someone used his identity to make $350 worth of transactions to his bank account.
Arrest: A 13-year-old Youngstown boy was arrested in the 8200 block of Market Street on a charge of grand theft auto after a Meadowbrook Avenue man reported his 1990 Ford Tempo stolen. The vehicle was found in the Med-Mar Professional Building parking lot, 5701 Market St.
Theft: A man in his 30s reportedly stole an undetermined number of cartons of cigarettes from the drive-through at Four Jacks Filling Station, 1215 Boardman-Poland Road.
Unauthorized use: A woman reported someone used her 1998 Chrysler Town & amp; Country without permission while she was at the Tower Motel, 5235 Market St.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown girls, 15 and 16, and a Youngstown woman, 21, on theft charges after two quick-snap cameras, a 35 mm camera, a pair of women's undergarments and three sets of socks were stolen from Wal-Mart.

Arrest: A 36-year-old man was arrested at his Westview Drive residence on a criminal trespass charge.
Theft: Police charged a 28-year-old Youngstown woman with theft after a carton of cigarettes was taken from the front counter at Rich gas station, 5823 South Ave.
Theft: Police arrested a 60-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after 34 items worth about $1,039 were stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Burglary: A woman in the 200 block of Mathews Road discovered a side window to her home opened, and a $4,000 diamond engagement ring, a 14-karat gold wedding band, a diamond and two other rings stolen.
Arrest: A 26-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested at Southern Park Mall on charges of theft and possession of criminal tools. A mall security employee alleged she and another woman tried to steal merchandise from the food court area.
Theft: A man in his 50s reportedly stole two wooden benches from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: A 28-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at Wal-Mart on a warrant charging him with contempt of court. He also was cited on a charge of having fictitious license plates.
Theft: A man reportedly stole two Cleveland Browns jerseys, three pairs of socks and a candy bar from Wal-Mart.

Arrests: After their car was stopped in the Kmart parking lot, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road, a Youngstown man, 39, and a Youngstown woman, 34, were arrested. He was charged with trafficking in drugs, felonious assault, fleeing and eluding and resisting arrest; the woman faced a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Police alleged the man struck their cruiser with the vehicle he was driving.
Burglary: Someone drove a car into the door of a garage at Boardman Baptist Church, 1207 Shields Road, to gain access.
Theft: A cellular phone was removed from a residence in the 5000 block of Lockwood Boulevard.
Theft: A woman discovered her purse missing from a shopping cart at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft: A man in his 20s reportedly stole 14 Vindicator newspapers from a newspaper box in the 7000 block of Lockwood Boulevard.
Theft: Ten audio CDs were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A man discovered $6 in cash and various registration papers stolen from his vehicle parked at his apartment in the 500 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Arrest: A 50-year-old Youngstown man was arrested near Midlothian and Southern boulevards on charges of endangering children and permitting a minor to operate a motor vehicle.
Burglary: Someone kicked in the front door to a residence in the 5400 block of Southern Boulevard.
Arrest: A 23-year-old Boardman woman was arrested at her Market Street residence on charges of endangering children and domestic violence after a woman alleged a child was being abused at the apartment.
Burglary: A man reported a burglary at his residence in the 4100 block of Arden Boulevard.

Burglary: An employee at Sunrise Deli & amp; Catering, 8585 South Ave., discovered the business broken into and a cash register containing $250 stolen.
Burglary: A man in the 6500 block of Paxton Road reported his residence broken into and a black leather shoulder bag, $200, a credit card and makeup stolen.
Stolen check: Someone cashed a $203.35 stolen check at Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd., and used it to buy merchandise there.
Criminal damage: An employee at Marc's, 7121 Tiffany Blvd., discovered damage to her vehicle when she left work.
Arrest: An employee at the Boardman License Bureau, 229 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported a woman fraudulently tried to obtain an Ohio identification card. A 36-year-old Pittsburgh woman was arrested there on a warrant charging her with criminal simulation.

Arrest: A 39-year-old Poland man was charged with public indecency after a woman reported someone exposed himself when she was traveling on Market Street.
Bad check: A Youngstown man, 21, was charged with passing bad checks after a $500 personal check drawn on a closed account was presented at Sky Bank, 525 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Theft: A 22-year-old Boardman man was charged with theft after a drill was taken from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Police arrested a 15-year-old Youngstown girl on a theft charge after eight CDs were removed from Wal-Mart.
Assault-criminal damage: A man reported being assaulted in his living room, in the 1900 block of Mathews Road, during an argument about a card game. Also, a woman at the same apartment reported a front window was smashed.
Theft: A man took an undetermined number of packs of cigarettes from a display stand at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A vehicle parked in the 60 block of Lemans Drive was broken into and a checkbook was taken.
Theft: An employee at Hively Construction Co. Inc., 5175 W. Western Reserve Road, reported a $60,000 backhoe missing from the front yard at Nationwide Industrial Supply, 8414 South Ave.
Theft-criminal damage: A cellular phone and a portable CD player were removed from a vehicle in the 4900 block of Brookwood Drive. Also, a woman discovered her three cars broken into and five CDs and $5 taken. Three other residents reported various amounts of damage to their vehicles.
Criminal damage: Someone drove a vehicle through two front lawns in the 500 block of Presidential Drive, causing about $1,000 in damage.
Criminal damage-theft: A man reported his vehicle's passenger-side door lock damaged, and 20 CDs stolen in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue. Also, two other residents reported their cars broken into and CDs taken.
Criminal damage-theft: A woman in the 90 block of Lemans Drive reported her vehicle's driver's-side door lock damaged, and someone damaged a car's dashboard in the 100 block of Lemans Drive before taking an AM-FM CD player.
Criminal damage-theft: Two people in the 70 block of Lemans Drive reported their vehicles' door locks damaged and a third person reported an AM-FM CD player, a CD and a nylon bookbag stolen from his car.
Assault: A Boardman High School student alleged a boy, 15, assaulted him in a school hallway. He had a small cut on top of his head and redness around both cheeks.
Burglary: A man in the 200 block of Washington Boulevard reported someone entered his apartment while he was at home.
Criminal damage: A man reported his vehicle's left front door handle damaged in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue.
Theft: A woman reported $12 taken from her car in the 30 block of Shields Road.
Theft: Someone stole a purse, $20, a cellular phone and a Visa card from a vehicle parked at Club South Health & amp; Fitness Center, 7120 Tiffany Boulevard.
Theft-criminal damage: A woman reported someone broke into her mother's vehicle parked at Marc's, damaging its door lock, before removing a cellular phone and a CD player.
Theft: An employee at Tuffy Auto Service Center, 721 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported his toolbox and about $4,000 worth of tools stolen from the business.

Burglary: A 26-year-old Youngstown man was arrested in the 400 block of Jaronte Drive on a burglary charge after a woman at the residence discovered her garage broken into.
Theft: A New Springfield man reported four checks stolen from him were cashed at two Giant Eagle locations, 1201 Doral Drive and 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A man in his 30s took three to four boxes of shoes from Shoe Carnival, 550 Boardman-Poland Road.
Identity theft: A woman in the 400 block of Afton Avenue reported someone used her personal information to fraudulently open several lines of credit.
Theft: Police arrested a 39-year-old Poland man on a theft charge after four packs of cigarettes and a bottle of horseradish were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive. He also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft: A 21-year-old Youngstown man was charged with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after an anchor shackle, an autoblade, a replacement blade and a metal chain were stolen from Home Depot. Police said they also discovered a suspected crack pipe.
Thefts: A Youngstown woman, 19, was charged with theft after six pieces of women's clothing were stolen from Wal-Mart. A Youngstown woman, 21, also was charged with theft after four packs of diapers were taken.
Drugs: After conducting a traffic stop in the Schwebel Bakery & amp; Thrift Store parking lot, 965 E. Midlothian Blvd., police arrested a 44-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of felony possession of drugs (crack). Officers say they found a plastic bag containing suspected crack cocaine.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown girls, 13 and 14, on theft charges after 18 CDs, two books, a package of undergarments, a magazine and seven coloring books were stolen from Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A Boardman girl, 17, and a Youngstown woman, 19, were charged with theft after four cans of baby formula, a T-shirt, a bra and a CD were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A Struthers man, 51, was charged with theft after a Home Depot employee alleged he tried to return 31 plant bulbs and a lawn bag in a fraudulent manner.

Theft: Police discovered Walgreen Pharmacy, 7295 Market St., was the victim of a theft.
Theft: A 48-year-old Youngstown man was charged with theft after 17 packs of cigarettes were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Credit-card fraud: A Youngstown man reported a woman misused his credit card to buy four cartons of cigarettes, two packs of cigarettes and other items.
Theft: Police charged a 15-year-old Youngstown girl with theft after a pair of tennis shoes and five undergarments were stolen from Gabriel Bros.
Criminal damage: A vehicle's driver's-side rear door was damaged in the Dollar General parking lot, 5953 South Ave.
Theft-criminal damage: A CD player was stolen from a vehicle that had its passenger-side door window broken in the Southern Park Mall parking lot. Also, a man reported his car's door lock was damaged.
Theft: A woman in the 5100 block of Allan Drive reported a $700 lawn mower was stolen from a shed.
Criminal damage: A vehicle's driver's-side door window and handle were damaged while the car was in the 7000 block of West Boulevard.

Sept. 22
Vandalism: A Poland Manor woman reported her vehicle's taillight was cracked and that she found a large scratch on the car's driver's side.
Sept. 23
Arrest: After a traffic stop near state routes 616 and 170, a 24-year-old Niles man was arrested on a warrant charging him with probation violation.
Sept. 25
Assault: A Poland boy, 17, reported a man driving a white GMC Yukon assaulted him while the victim was in a vehicle stopped in traffic on state Route 170. The boy had a cut above one of his front teeth and an injury to his nose.
