Home Savings offers service in Spanish
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Home Savings and Loan Co. is offering its TeleBanking service in Spanish.
Susan Stricklin, vice president of marketing at Home Savings, said the bank is working with Organizacion Civica y Cultural Hispana Americana, a local civic organization.
"We want to be able to offer 24-hour banking to all of our customers," Stricklin said. "Given the demographic composition of the communities we serve, it was important that both English and Spanish-speaking customers be able to call our automated phone system to access their account information at anytime."
Through TeleBanking, customers can verify balances, as well as the last 10 checks cleared, confirm the last five deposits, make loan payments, transfer funds between accounts and pay bills.
"Our clients appreciate that Home Savings is being responsive to the banking needs of our local Spanish-speaking community by taking the extra step to offer 24-hour banking convenience," said Mary Isa Garayua, OCCHA executive director.
Home Savings, which is based in Youngstown, has 34 branches and five loan production offices throughout Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
