GATE TO THE ARTS YSU sculpture at Bliss Hall

Dan Lawrence, a spatial-arts major at Youngstown State University, works on part of a sculpture by Greg Moring, an associate professor of art at YSU. The sculpture will become part of a gate that will be installed at the Bliss Hall courtyard across from Smoky Hollow. When completed, the gate will weigh 1,600 pounds and stand about 14 feet tall and 12 feet wide. It will be accompanied by a smaller gate that is on display at the McDonough Museum of Art.
