Duferco Farrell employee to speak at Youngstown ITT ceremony



YOUNGSTOWN -- Michael Hrycyk, vice president of human resources at the Duferco Farrell Corp. in Farrell, Pa., will be the guest speaker at Youngstown ITT Technical Institute's graduation. Ceremonies are 6 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard High School.
Forty graduates will receive degrees in computer and electronics engineering technology, information technology -- computer network systems and information technology -- and web development.
Hrycyk has held senior human-resource positions at the former Sharon Steel facility, Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He is a board member of the Mercer County Workforce Investment Committee, NUPACC Labor Management Committee and a member of Congressman Phil English's Trade Advisory Board.
He holds a master's degree in labor relations and a bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
The Youngstown ITT Technical Institute offers educational programs to more than 500 students enrolled primarily in associate's and bachelor's degree programs of study.
