TAMPA, Fla. -- Jussi Markkanen made 36 saves for his second shutout of the season to help the New York Rangers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning. Mark Messier and Jed Ortmeyer scored for the Rangers. Tampa Bay was shut out for the second straight game and has gone 148 minutes, 32 seconds without a goal. The Lightning played to a scoreless tie in their previous game Sunday at Carolina.
Canucks 5, Canadiens 2
MONTREAL -- Markus Naslund had two goals and an assist and Todd Bertuzzi also had three points to lead the Vancouver Canucks. Mike Keane scored his first Vancouver goal and Jason King got his team-leading 11th goal as the Canucks ended a five-game road losing streak (0-3-0-2). Richard Zednik, who scored twice Saturday in Edmonton -- including the first outdoor goal in NHL history -- got his fifth goal in four games for Montreal.
Senators 6, Thrashers 3
ATLANTA -- Wade Redden scored two goals and the Ottawa Senators rallied from a three-goal deficit for the victory. Atlanta took a 3-0 lead early in the second period before the Senators took control. Redden started off the scoring barrage with a goal at 4:30 of the second period. His second goal, 32 seconds into the third period put Ottawa ahead 4-3. Radek Bonk and Peter Schaefer added goals as the Senators ended the Thrashers' four-game winning streak.
Blues 4, Bruins 3, OT
ST. LOUIS -- Doug Weight scored with 41 seconds left in overtime, lifting the St. Louis Blues to the win after Keith Tkachuk tied it with 29 seconds left in regulation. Weight hit a shot from the faceoff circle, giving the Blues their fifth consecutive home victory. The Blues pulled goalie Chris Osgood with 55 seconds remaining. Tkachuk was parked in front of the net when the rebound of a shot by Scott Mellanby came right to him. Tkachuk put the puck back past goalie Felix Potvin in for his 11th goal.
Devils 4, Kings 0
LOS ANGELES -- Martin Brodeur made 25 saves in his fourth shutout this season, and New Jersey extended its unbeaten streak to 12 games. Devuils captain Scott Stevens tied the NHL record for most games by a defenseman. John Madden and Scott Niedermayer had power-play goals and Sergei Brylin also scored for the defending Stanley Cup champions, whose 10-0-2 stretch is one shy of the longest unbeaten streak in franchise history.
