Miami of Ohio gives OK to GMAC Bowl



MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- No. 15 Miami of Ohio has accepted an invitation to play in the GMAC Bowl on Dec. 18.
The RedHawks of the Mid-American Conference will play a representative from Conference USA to be announced Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
Miami of Ohio (10-1) has two games to play before the bowl. Led by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the RedHawks have the nation's sixth-highest scoring offense at 40.7 points per game.
The GMAC Bowl will be the school's first bowl appearance since the 1986 California Bowl.
