GAME-BY-GAME WITH THE EAGLES In AAU meet

Game 1--Amanda Nero scored 12 points in the Mahoning Valley Eagles' 50-47 win over the Oklahoma City Lady Hoopers. Jessica Saul added nine points while Lindsay Johnson collected 10 rebounds.
Game 2--Nero plugged 13 points and Leah Mastrian contributed 12 as the Eagles posted a 61-49 win over the Arlington Texas Swoosh. Leanne Magestro contributed nine rebounds and Chere Marshall six assists.
Game 3--The Eagles beat the Texas Go Getters, 55-24, to finish first in their pool, as Nero and Shaina Smith shared scoring honors with nine points each, while Chere Marshall delivered six assists.
Game 4--Entering into championship play, the Eagles went to 4-0 with a 79-60 conquest of the Arizona Heat as Marshall led the way with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Nero tacked on 14 points, Saul 13 and Lynle Cornell 11, while Ashley Pendleton had 8 rebounds.
Game 5--The Eagles finally were stopped by the West Texas Lady Bulls, 86-66, although Marshall scored 13 points, Lynn Renwick 12 and Nero 11. Magestro also contributed seven rebounds and Saul five assists.
Game 6--The Eagles bounced back to beat the Montana Lady Wizards, 66-58, as Nero scored 14 points, Saul 12 and Marshall 10 while Johnson had 10 rebounds.Game 7--The Eagles lost their final game to Central Magic, 62-54, to place fourth as Johnson had 18 points and 10 rebounds.
