Woman robbed of purse while exiting car

SHARON, Pa. -- Police said a Heinz Avenue woman was assaulted and robbed as she arrived home around 12:45 a.m. today. The 54-year-old victim said she was getting out of her car in the 1200 block of Heinz when two men accosted her, shoved her back into her car and stole her purse.
Police found the purse, minus cash, credit cards, a cell phone and some blank checks, a couple of blocks away at Bluff Street and Hall Avenue. The victim suffered a minor head injury in the attack, police said. She was unable to give a good description of her assailants, police said.
