TUCSON, Ariz. -- Lute Olson is getting used to milestone victories.
Olson, beginning his 21st season at Arizona, earned his 500th win as the Wildcats' coach on Monday night with a 107-73 season-opening victory over Northern Arizona.
The 69-year-old Olson is 500-147 with the Wildcats and he'll have 700 overall with eight more victories. His record is 692-239 at Long Beach State, Iowa and Arizona.
Channing Frye scored 20 points and Andre Iguodala added 18 to lead fourth-ranked Arizona to the win in Tucson. But Olson knows there are challenges ahead far more formidable than tiny Northern Arizona.
