Adoption agency grant
WARREN -- The board of directors of First Place Bank's Community Foundation presented a grant of $10,000 to Northeast Ohio Adoption Services to complete a computer upgrade project.
The foundation's board chairman, Richard P. Cowin, accompanied by executive director David J. Jenkins, presented the grant check to Northeast Ohio Adoption Services' Associate Director Kathy Franz.
"The contribution First Place Bank has made is very important to us and our community. The upgrade will improve services to waiting children, help complete and track paperwork more efficiently, and link our Warren and Maple Heights offices," Franz said.
