CANFIELD:
Nov. 15
Drug arrest: Police arrested an 18-year-old Canfield man on charges of possession of a prescription bottle of yellow pills after a domestic violence call. The man had an argument with his father and then ran out of the house into the woods. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence, obstructing official business, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and drug abuse.
Nov. 17
Breaking and entering: A Yamaha generator and a Polaris All-Terrain Vehicle were stolen from Buckeye Storage Center, 374 Newton St.
Nov. 20
Vandalism: Someone poured gasoline and kerosene in the front yard and sprayed it on the front door of a residence in the 500 block of Janet Drive.
Nov. 21
Missing purse: A 31-year-old Canfield woman reported her purse had been taken at Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.
Nov. 23
Drug abuse: A 23-year-old Deerfield man was charged with possession of prescription drugs when they arrested him for riding his off-road motorcycle on East Main Street.

Nov. 17
Theft: A 43-year-old man was arrested on a charge of theft at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from the residential 1000 block of Orkney Road.
Vandalism: A window was broken at a vacant business location at 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $50 bill was passed at Seven-Seventeen Credit Union, 6460 Mahoning Ave.
Property damage: Lawn damage was reported in the residential 3000 block of Cannon Road.
Fraud: A checking account was used using the victim's name at Wal-Mart, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Vandalism: Lawn damage was reported in the residential 5000 block of Nashua Drive.
Auto theft: A blue 1994 Buick Century was stolen from the 500 block of Westgate Boulevard.
Theft: Money and prescription drugs were stolen from an apartment at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Auto theft: A gray 1988 Buick Century was stolen from the residential 90 block of Idlewood Road.

Theft from auto: A window was broken on a vehicle to gain entry at the Best Western Motel, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A 45-year-old man is a suspect in a theft from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: An auto was broken into in the residential 200 block of North Main Street.
Nov. 19:
Theft from auto: A theft from a vehicle was reported at the Hampton Inn, 880 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Vandalism: Oil was poured on the front seat of a vehicle in the residential 2000 block of Redgate Lane.
Theft: A suspect was using a victim's Social Security number in the residential 10 block of North Wickliffe Circle.
Vandalism: The paint on a vehicle was damaged at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Attempted burglary: A living room window was found open in the residential 4000 block of Woodridge Drive.
Vandalism: A 19-year-old man is accused in an incident at an apartment in the 40 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Theft: A 40-year-old man was arrested in the theft of a can of beer at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Nov. 20:
Vandalism: Damage was done to the siding of a residence in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Attempted auto theft: The column was damaged on an unlocked vehicle in the residential 4000 block of Walnut Trace.
Theft: A woman is a suspect in stealing medication in the 800 block of North Meridian Road.
Burglary: A man was arrested in a burglary in the residential 4000 block of Crum Road.

Drug offense: Two Youngstown women were arrested on drug charges at the intersection of Norquest Boulevard and Ohltown Road. One was accused of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and the other was accused of drug abuse of marijuana.
Attempted breaking and entering: There was damage at Red Diamond, 4441 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: Entry was gained but nothing was stolen at Dale Cleaners, 4409 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: A bed, box spring and mattress were stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Attempted breaking and entering: A door lock was pulled at Great China Buffet, 4765 Mahoning Ave.
Vandalism: A vehicle was damaged in the residential 4000 block of New Road.
Theft: A $311 paycheck was stolen from a purse at Popeyes Chicken, 6073 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Entry was made via a basement window at a residence in the 100 block of Fitch Boulevard.
Attempted auto theft: Damage to a steering column was reported in the residential 3000 block of Nottingham Avenue.

Receiving stolen property: A stolen vehicle was recovered at Speedway gas station, 4461 Kirk Road, and a 15-year-old boy was placed in the Juvenile Justice Center.
Theft: Lottery tickets were stolen at Mike's Drive-Thru, 2035 S. Meridian Road.
Breaking and entering: Nothing was reported missing after a barn was broken into in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft from auto: An AM-FM stereo was stolen from a vehicle in the residential 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: A woman was arrested for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: It was unknown if anything was missing after a break-in at a residence in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.
Theft: Two radios were taken from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
