From Michigan Stadium

First score: When Ohio State scored its touchdown in the first half with 44 seconds remaining before halftime, it marked the first time the Wolverines had been scored upon during the first half of a home game this season. It was the Wolverines' seventh home game of the season.
Record attendance: The 112,118 fans that jammed into Michigan Stadium broke the NCAA record for most fans attending a college football game. The old record was 111,726 also held by the Wolverines in last year's contest against Notre Dame. Michigan set a new school record for home game attendance on the season. The Wolverines put 776,529 fans into the seats in their seven home games, an average of 110,933, also a new school record. They were 7-0 at home this season.
Buckeye notes: Jim Tressel fell to 2-1 against Michigan while the Buckeyes fell further behind in the all-time series that Michigan leads 57-37-6. The Buckeyes are 17-30-4 in Ann Arbor.
Bowl representatives: Bowl officials were on hand from most all the major bowl games, including the Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Outback Bowl and Capital One Bowl. The Buckeyes most likely will go to the Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Fla., which has an agreement to take the second team out of the Big Ten.

Senior Michael Jenkins led the Buckeyes with nine receptions for 132 yards, with his longest catch being 41 yards. Defensive notes: Defensive back Will Allen led the OSU defenders with 14 tackles, 10 of them solo hits, while defensive back Nate Salley added 11, including one tackle for loss. The Buckeyes had two stops behind the line of scrimmage, the other was by defensive tackle Tim Anderson. Michigan had seven tackles for losses with defensive end Pierre Woods and lineman Alain Kashama each getting two, both of Kashama's were sacks.
