BAZAARS/CRAFT SHOWS
XBethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will sponsor a bazaar and cookie walk from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 6 at the church.
XFrosty's Christmas Boutique is planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 at Marlington Middle School, 10325 Moulin Ave., Alliance, by Lexington Parent-Teacher Organization. There will be 130 vendor tables. Admission is one dollar. There will be free parking and refreshments available.
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
XKennedy Eagles will sponsor a breakfast with Santa at 9 a.m. Dec. 6 at Kennedy Catholic High School, 2120 Freeway, Hermitage, Pa. Breakfasts of pancakes and sausage will be served, and there will be treats and surprises for children. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making a special appearance along with The Cat in the Hat. Reservations must be made by Dec. 3 by calling the school at (724) 346-5531. Cost is $3 per child and $4 per adult.
FESTIVALS
XSt. John's Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor its 43rd annual Boar's Head & amp; Yule Log Festival Jan. 4 at the church. Tickets are $4 for the performance only or $17.50 for a traditional roast beef dinner with wassail followed by the performance. Dinner seatings will be at 1 and 3 p.m. that day with performances at 2:30 and 4:30. Any tickets not sold prior to the performance will be available at the door for $5 each. Tickets may be purchased in the church office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope and payment to the church, Attn: Boar's Head, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, Ohio 44503-1095. FUND-RAISERS
XSt. Michael Garden Guild of St. Michael Church, Canfield, is selling tickets for the annual Christmas basket raffle. The five theme baskets are "For her," Christmas, Irish, toy and winter garden. All tickets include a chance on a decorated tree. Tickets are $1 each. The raffle will take place after the 9 a.m. Mass Dec. 14 at the parish center. Ticket buyers don't have to attend to win. Funds are used to maintain the Gallagher Garden and for geranium baskets and holiday season decorations.
