ASSOCIATIONS
XWarren Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Golden Gate Restaurant in Warren. There will be musical entertainment by Marian Mihas, soprano soloist and harpist. Reservations for the dinner buffet are $15 and may be made by calling Jane Guerriero, (330) 898-7441.
CLUBS
XOhio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Saxon Club, 710 Meridian Road, Austintown. The theme is "The Immigrant Experience: From Hungary to the Mahoning Valley." The speaker will be Dr. Leslie Domonkos, a professor in the history department at Youngstown State University, whose family came from Hungry in the 1940s. Roman Rudnytsky will entertain with Hungarian music on the piano. The meal will be stuffed cabbage, chicken paprikash, buttered noodles and Viennese cream cake. XPolish Arts Club will hold a wigilia dinner of ethnic Christmas foods Dec. 7 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Polish National Church, 720 Cameron St. A 1 p.m. social will be followed by the dinner. The cost is $13 for paid-up members and guests, and free for member's children under 12. The fee is $5 for other children. Hostesses are Marie Rockney and Mariann Poprik.
XWarren Women's Connection will hold a "Christmas Past" breakfast buffet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Dec. 8 at Aulizio's Banquet Center, 4395 Youngstown-Warren Road. Laura Zeh of the Loghurst Museum in Canfield will talk about past Christmases in the Western Reserve. Dolores Mitson will speak on hope. The cost is $10. A free nursery is available. XYoungstown After 5 Club will hold a dinner from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Lockwood House, 7095 Lockwood Blvd., Boardman. Speaker Dolores Mitson will present "Joy for All Seasons: Inside and Out." Also on the program will be Debby Stucky of Gingerbread Cafe. The cost is $10. Dinner and child-care reservations may be made by calling (330) 799-0679 by Dec. 1.
XYoungstown Area Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., Youngstown, will hold its annual Christmas party at 1 p.m. Dec. 7. A buffet is planned. Members should take casseroles or desserts. Reservations may be made until Dec. 4 by calling (330) 799-7008. There is a $3 fee for members and $5 for guests.
GUILDS
XSt. Michael Garden Guild of St. Michael Church, Canfield, will have a Christmas dinner and installation of officers at 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. Menu choices are chicken marsala, stuffed pork chops or orange roughy, costing $23 each. Indicate menu choice on a check and mail to Patricia Hoyle by Nov. 30.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XSt. Michael Altar Guild will meet for a Christmas dinner after the benediction at 6 p.m. Dec. 1. Members are asked to take casseroles that will serve eight to 10 people. There will be musical entertainment, and hostesses will be Ann Garcia, Helen Mocker, Roxanna Hildebrand and Jerry Less. Guests are welcome.
SINGLES
XOriginal Christian Singles will meet for a Thanksgiving dinner at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at Yankee Kitchen in Boardman. Members will order from the menu, and guest musician will be Rochella Joy. XYoungstown Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants will hold its annual holiday luncheon Dec. 6 at the Avalon Inn in Howland. Registration and networking will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch at noon. Tina Shanker of the Forum Health Foundation will give information about the Tod Children's Miracle Network Telethon. The meeting is open to the public, but reservations are required by Friday. Cost is $14.
