Perfect planners; convenient camera

KNIGHT RIDDER TRIBUNE
Next year's calendars are popping up in bookstores already, and the sight of rows and rows of datebooks and planners and desk calendars is enough to make even the most disorganized among us want to clean up our acts.
Amid the calendars full of cuddly puppies and rolling meadows, we found two planners guaranteed to make getting organized a little more fun. The Wonder Woman organizer (Chronicle Books, $19.95) is a tribute to one of the world's greatest female superheroes -- and we doubt she ever missed an appointment. The red vinyl cover gives off a take-charge vibe, and there's plenty of room inside for to-do lists and addresses -- not to mention some really cool artwork of Wonder Woman and her alter ego, Diana Prince.
If superheroes aren't your bag, pick up The Bad Girl's Power Planner (Chronicle Books, $19.95), an organizer with attitude. Everything from its shocking pink exterior to its pages for "My Personal Posse" and "Whirlwind Social Calendar" makes it ideal for the girl with things to do and people to see.
Look for both planners at bookstores or at online booksellers such as www.amazon.com, or visit www.chroniclebooks.com.
Portable pictures
Your best friend may have a brand-new camera phone, but you can do him one better -- check out the new Philips Key007, a digital camera designed to hook to a key chain, hang around your neck, or be otherwise available whenever you need it. The tiny camera -- at 1 1/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches, it's not much bigger than a credit card -- holds hundreds of photos and is easy to hook up to your computer. It comes with a neck strap so you can tote it wherever you go. (And because it weighs only about an ounce, we doubt you'll be straining any muscles.)
Look for the Key007 for about $100 at Best Buy, Target and other electronics or mass-merchandise stores.
