YOUNGSTOWN -- Yvonne Pointer-Triplett of Cleveland will speak when Comfort Ministry has a program at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church to help the families of murder victims cope with the holidays.
Pointer-Triplett's daughter was murdered in Youngstown in 1984. The murder is unsolved.
The ministry helps victims and provides financial assistance in obtaining headstones.
To date, five headstones have been placed. There's no charge to attend the event, but an offering will be taken.
Inspirational books and audiotapes will be for sale.
