MANDI WISESTEPHEN SLIVKA
XAUSTINTOWN -- The Rev. James Korda presided at 2 p.m. Oct. 25 at St. Joseph Church for the wedding of Mandi Wise and Stephen M. Slivka.
Parents of the bride are Mustafa and Debra Kachwalla, 11 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Colonia, N.J. Mr. Slivka is a son of Stephen and Marsha Slivka, 4185 Claridge Drive.
A reception took place at the Lockwood House in Boardman, and the couple honeymooned in San Diego. They are living in Henderson, Nev.
The bride wore a white satin gown fashioned with spaghetti straps accented with pearls and beads. The skirt flowed to a cathedral train, and her cathedral veil was trimmed with pearls.
Her aunt, Heidi Walton, was honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Kate Slivka, the groom's sister; Adrienne Baschew; Barbara Walton, the bride's aunt; and Dusty Walton, her cousin. They wore navy-blue gowns.
Mike Savage performed the duties of best man, and serving as groomsmen were Aaron Holden, Jason Hradil, Chuck Armes and Mike Terlecky.
A graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in psychology, Mrs. Slivka is assistant resort manager at Club de Soleil in Las Vegas.
The groom attended Franklin University in Columbus and is a service technician with Shuffle Master in Las Vegas.
