Local physicians collect shoes for the Salvation Army

YOUNGSTOWN -- Local physicians continue their partnership with the Salvation Army to provide clothing to those in need.
Ankle & amp; Foot Care Centers are kicking off their fifth annual shoe donation program.
Ankle & amp; Foot Care Centers is once again working with the Mahoning County Salvation Army to distribute these donated shoes over the holiday season.
About 1,000 pairs of shoes were donated during the last holiday season. The Salvation Army distributed these shoes at their annual clothing and coat drives in February and April.
Shoes donated should be new or in nearly new condition. Boots are especially appreciated at this time of year, particularly those in child sizes. Bring shoes to any one of Ankle & amp; Foot Care Center's 16 office locations listed at www.ankleandfootcare.com.Donations can be made through Jan. 2.
