Detwilers mark golden jubilee at reception

XYOUNGSTOWN -- A dinner reception was held Nov. 15 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield to honor Mr. and Mrs. Ken Detwiler of 3205 Sunnybrook Drive on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Arrangements for the celebration were made by the couple's sons and daughters-in-law, Galen and Roseann Detwiler of Liberty, Steve and Cindy Detwiler of Hilliard, and Jeff and Marianne Detwiler of Strongsville. Seven grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Detwiler and the former Marlene Stryffeler were married Nov. 15, 1953, at Bethel Church in Alliance. He retired in 1995 from the Schwebel Baking Co., where he was a route salesman. His wife was a secretary with Roth Bros. in Austintown until retiring in 1995.
The Detwilers belong to Smith Corners United Methodist Church.
