Advisory board position open

NORTH LIMA -- Replacing Grace Styler won't be an easy task for the South Range School District.
But finding someone to fill her spot on the advisory board of the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center is a task that must be completed, said Jim Hall, schools superintendent.
Styler has served on the board for the past 10 years. Her term ends next month.
The school board, at its regular monthly meeting Monday, adopted a resolution of gratitude to Styler as the school district's representative to the county board.
"She, along with her insightfulness and dedication, will be missed," Hall said. "Her service has been greatly appreciated."
Meanwhile, Hall said the school board is looking for a replacement, and anyone interested in filling the post should contact the district. He said the board is looking for someone in the business community who has a business background and has a love for children.
"It is a volunteer position, so there is no pay involved," he said. "It takes someone who is dedicated and willing to focus on the good of the kids."
