PROFESSIONAL LOOK \ How to get it

Use C-9 bulbs (large, traditional-shaped bulbs) along gutters and peaks and at the corners of the house.
Outline door frames, windows and garage doors with C-7 bulbs (smaller versions of the C-9).
Only use chasing and blinking lights on bushes or trees.
Put lights on brackets or hooks so they are straight and facing the same direction.
Use miniature lights inside wreaths and fresh greenery ropes wrapped around railings.
If you have extra lights at ground level, don't toss them in a bush. Unscrew extra bulbs half a turn and leave them in so you can't see them.
Adjust tree and shrub lighting at night, when you can see it better, to eliminate clumps and fill empty spaces.
