RONNIE LOTT HONORED

h49ers Hall of Fame safety Ronnie Lott, left, was honored at halftime with the retirement of his No. 42 jersey. Participating in the event were 49ers owners John York, second from left, and Denise DeBartolo York, right, and Ed DeBartolo Jr., second from right, the former owner. Lott credited DeBartolo Jr. for being the architect of the franchise's glory years (five Super Bowl victories since 1981) and thanked the Yorks for carrying the torch. More from 3Com Park on C4.
