Police levy set for March
BROOKFIELD -- Township trustees plan to place a 2-mill police levy on the March primary election ballot.
Trustees met Monday to discuss the proposed levy, which would generate about $286,000 a year for five years.
The money would be used to increase staffing and update equipment for the police department.
