AARP chapter to meet
YOUNGSTOWN -- Chapter 4611, American Association of Retired Persons, will meet at noon Wednesday at St. Augustine Church on Parmelee Avenue for a covered-dish Thanksgiving luncheon. New members are welcome, and there will be a 50-50 drawing. Illness or death among members should be reported to (330) 746-3106.
Relay for Life meeting
YOUNGSTOWN -- There will be a team captains and committee meeting for the American Cancer Society's second annual Hispanic Relay for Life event at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 24 at Organizacion Civica y Cultural Hispana Americana, 3660 Shirley Road. Relay chairwomen are Rita Lopez and Virginia Hernandez. The relay will take place in June.
