ROUNDUP Friday's other games

Red Wings 4, Blackhawks 3, OT
CHICAGO -- Brendan Shanahan scored on a power play 1:08 into overtime to give the Detroit Red Wings a victory over the Chicago Blackhawks. Shanahan's shot came from near the left circle beat rookie goalie Craig Anderson, giving Detroit its third straight victory and fourth in five games. Chicago lost its fourth straight after a strong rally in the final period against Dominik Hasek. Trailing 3-1 midway through the final period, Chicago got within a goal with eight minutes left when Travis Moen scored on a rebound. Sixty-seven seconds later, Igor Radulov fished a puck out of the corner, drove right to the net and beat Hasek with a sharply angled shot from the right side. It was Radulov's second goal of the night. He also scored on an opening-period power play to put Chicago ahead 1-0. Kirk Maltby's wrist shot from the deep right circle early in the final period gave the Red Wings a two-goal advantage. But Hasek, who shut out the Blackhawks four days ago, couldn't hold it.
Lightning 5, Capitals 2
WASHINGTON -- Fredrik Modin scored twice and Vincent Lecavalier had a goal and an assist in the Tampa Bay Lightning's victory over the Washington Capitals. Martin St. Louis and Cory Stillman added goals to help Tampa Bay snap an 11-game regular-season losing streak in Washington. Lecavalier was credited with a goal at 3:22 of the first period when Washington defenseman Sergei Gonchar's clearing attempt struck goalie Olaf Kolzig's right skate and bounced into the net. Modin made it 2-0 at 8:05 of the opening period, and Tampa Bay broke the game open in the second. Modin added his second goal and Stillman scored on a power play to make it 4-0. Jaromir Jagr scored on a breakaway for Washington, but St. Louis countered with a short-handed goal. Jason Doig also scored for the Capitals.
Coyotes 3, Stars 3
DALLAS -- Branko Radivojevic scored his second goal of the game with 49.5 seconds left in regulation to give the Phoenix Coyotes a tie with the Dallas Stars. Radivojevic knocked a loose puck past goalie Marty Turco after Phoenix pulled goalie Brian Boucher for an extra attacker. On Thursday night in Phoenix, the Coyotes overcame a 2-0 deficit to beat Colorado 3-2 on Radivojevic's overtime goal. The Stars were without coach Dave Tippett, recuperating at home after emergency neck surgery earlier in the day. Tippett awoke Friday with numbness in his right shoulder and arm, and had surgery to remove a disc from his neck Friday afternoon. Associate coach Rick Wilson ran the team against the Coyotes, and Tippett is expected to be back Monday. Rob DiMaio's short-handed goal with 7:26 left gave the Stars a 3-2 lead. With teammate Brenden Morrow in the penalty box, DiMaio picked up a loose puck in the Dallas zone, skated up the right side and beat Boucher from the right circle.
