GARDEN CLUBS



MONDAY
XElection of officers and a holiday rubber-stamp project are planned for the 7:30 p.m. meeting of Garden Gate. Hostess will be Arletta Webber, and co-hostess will be Geri Tarka.
XPoland will meet at noon for a program by Karen Petroff of Mill Creek MetroParks.
XThe noon meeting of Wildwood will feature a film and narration on traveling through the Panama Canal by Mary Lou Green and Char Weden. Hostess will be Audrey Cossler, and co-hostess will be Carol Bigelow.
TUESDAY
XTerry Anness and Carol Vechiarelli will be chairmen for the meeting of Daisy Dozen. The program will take place at The Mentoring Mansion on Fifth Avenue.
XMembers of East will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Inglis Greenhouse followed by a picnic and meeting in the barn and a demonstration by Heather Connally. Hostesses will be Stella Shepas and Ann Mravich.
XPenny Langdon will present a program on holiday door decorations at the 7 p.m. meeting of Lowellville. Jean Giansante, Barb Noufer and Sharon Mosconi will be hostesses.
XTrailwood members will meet at 11:30 a.m. for a sack lunch and flower-arrangement demonstration. Ritchie Jones will be hostess, and co-hostesses will be Noreen Dornbrock and Betty Millard.
WEDNESDAY
XA tour of the Henn Museum is planned for the 10 a.m. meeting of Austintown. A meeting and lunch will follow.
XMembers of Ivy League will meet at 1 p.m. Lynn Mocker will be the instructor for a Christmas project, and hostesses will be Wanda Brothers and Margie Bohnstedt.
XSuburban will meet at noon with Mrs. Charles Kane as hostess. The program will be "Dashing Through the Snow."
THURSDAY
XA Christmas craft project is planned for the meeting of Appleridge Gardenaires at the home of Carol DeAscentis. There also will be distribution of baskets for Thanksgiving dinners for the needy. Hostesses will be Dorothy Kijowski and Dolly Haladay.
XPatrice Harvey of Wild Birds Unlimited will be the speaker for the 6 p.m. meeting of Coitsville at The Gallery in Canfield. Anne Bunofsky will be hostess.
XAnne Louise Bramlett will be hostess for the 7:30 p.m. meeting of Driftwood. Co-hostess will be Gert Zell.
XHubbard Junior will have a program on making candles at 7 p.m. at the Hubbard Public Library. Co-hostesses will be Marnie Keenan and Isabelle Rigby.
XMembers of Johnny Appleseed will meet for a plant exchange and program on gift jars. Peggy Potts will be hostess, and co-hostess will be Vera Gabrick. Mary Carol Eisenbrei will be in charge of the door prize.
XAn ethnic dinner is planned for 1 p.m. in Vincentian Hall for members of St. Edward. A meeting will follow.
XTrumbull County Garden Forum will meet at 11:30 a.m. at 6779 Belmont Ave. Cost of the luncheon will be $10. The program will be "Christmas Around the House" by Judy Mannot. Members of Friendly Garden Club will be hostesses.
