YOUNGSTOWN -- Adam Hollander has been named vice president of Weathertite Windows, a company with headquarters on Belmont Avenue that installs and services vinyl replacement windows in eight states. The company was founded in 1991 by Merv Hollander, now president, and his son Adam Hollander joined the company as a salesman in the Youngstown office. Adam Hollander opened Weathertite offices in Columbus and Atlanta, Ga., and recently returned to the area to run the local office.

AUSTINTOWN -- Marcus Thomas LLC, an advertising and public relations agency with offices in Cleveland and Youngstown, has hired Chris Hastings as a media supervisor. Hastings has a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Miami University of Ohio. He was previously employed as a media supervisor for Optimum Media Direction in Chicago. He lives in Chagrin Falls.

BOARDMAN -- John Shepard, a physician recruiter and former hospital chief executive, has been named vice president of professional development for Total Practice Management, a physician billing, recruitment and consulting company in Boardman. Shepard has 37 years of health-care experience and previously served as vice president of a large hospital system.
