Spike TV joins fray
The cable network for men will be previewing the nominees for its Video Game Awards at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Viewers can then go online at http://www.spiketv.com/ to vote for their favorites.
Categories include game of the year, sports, action, animation, driving and music. Games can also win in categories for PC, online, handheld, fighting, first person action, fantasy and classic games.
There's even an award for the best performance by a human in a video game.
Spike will also offer awards to the most addictive and most anticipated games.
Results will be aired at 9 p.m. Dec. 4.
