Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Sandine to mark 65th anniversary at family dinner

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Sandine of 4470 Little Johns Place will be honored Nov. 20 at a family dinner at the Springfield Grille in Boardman in celebration of their 65th wedding anniversary.
The couple also plan to mark the event with a winter vacation to Florida.
Hosts for the observance will be the couple's daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Jim Huesken, Veronica and Bob Morell, Sandra Kertis and Theresa Leaver, all of Boardman, and Margaret and Jerry Murphy of Florida. Thirteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Sandine and the former Margaret Kristof were married on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 1938, at Holy Name Church. He owned Sandine Jewelry & amp; Loan Co. for 47 years prior to retiring. He also received recognition in the 1930s and '40s as the area's table tennis champion and was active in many programs at the YMCA.
His wife is a homemaker.
The couple are members of St. Christine Church.
