XJERSEY MILLS, Pa. -- The Stutzman cabin on Pine Creek was the setting at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 11 for the wedding of Melissa Scanlon and Brian Heath Stutzman, both of 3839 Ridge Road, Westminster, Md., and for a reception afterward.
The daughter of Eugene R. Scanlon Jr., 225 E. Second St., and Delaine and Dave Collins, 105 Hazel St., Girard, and the son of Stanley and Jacqueline Stutzman, 3449 Northway Road Williamsport, Pa., exchanged vows in the presence of the Revs. Larry and Norma Jean Hinchcliffe, the bride's aunt and uncle.
The bride was wearing an ivory gown fashioned with a portrait neckline and a full skirt that flowed into a cathedral train.
Wine-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Michelle Roe, and the bridesmaids, Diana Hinchcliffe, her cousin; and Lisa and Missie Stutzman, the groom's sisters-in-law. Junior bridesmaid was Katie Stutzman and flower girl was Lillian Stutzman, nieces of the groom.
Jeff Schon served as best man, and groomsmen were Jim Kilpatrick; Stanley II and Josh Stutzman, brothers of the groom; and Christopher Scanlon, the bride's son. Ring bearers were Jake and Evan Stutzman, the groom's nephews.
The bride attended Hiram College. The groom is employed at Universal Forest Products in New Windsor, Md.
The couple live at 416 Clover Court, Taneytown, Md.
