XWOODVILLE -- The marriage of Laurie A. Crispen and Capt. Dean A. Bundschu, both of 208 Danesway Drive, Holly Springs, N.C., was solemnized by Rev. Judith Frank during a ceremony at 3 p.m. Oct. 18 at Woodville United Methodist Church.
The newlyweds were honored during a reception at Sunrise Park and Banquet Center in Millbury. They live in Holly Springs.
The bride is a daughter of Dennis and Teresa Schmidlin of Woodville, and the groom is a son of David and Shirley Bundschu of Canfield.
Mrs. Bundschu graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is a project manager with Caterpillar Inc. in Cary, N.C.
Capt. Bundschu, who served in the U.S. Army from 1996 to 2001 as an operations officer in Garner, N.C., is company commander for the 362nd Battalion, a U.S. Reserves unit from Kingston, N.C., and is serving in Iraq. He holds a bachelor's degree from Ohio Northern University, Ada.
The bride wore a white halter-style gown.
Honor attendants were Shawna Haeft, Williston, the bride's sister, and Janet Woycitzky, Walbridge. Bridesmaids were Kristin Garner and Lori Hansen, both of Cary; Susan Hardy, Alexandra Tutwiler and Kera Cowan, all of Apex, N.C.; Karen Butler, Toledo; and Alison Heggie, Williston. They wore chocolate-colored dresses. Flower girl was KarLee LaFontaine, Elmore, the bride's cousin.
Best man was Dale Bundschu, Odenton, Md., the groom's brother. Groomsmen were Kyle Schmidlin of Woodville, the bride's brother; Steve DeLucia and Ron Fleming, both of Boardman; Kevin Bezyak and Kashif Khan, both of Columbus; Andrew Uram, Youngstown; Mike Kemble, Berea; and Joe Sheridan Jr., Wilmington, N.C. Ring bearer was Vincent Santisi, North Bloomfield, the groom's cousin.
