XHUBBARD -- St. Patrick Church was the setting Oct. 11 for the 2 p.m. wedding of Kristie Elizabeth Maiorca and Scott Charles Miller. The bride is a daughter of Patricia Maiorca, Hubbard, and the late Stephen Maiorca. Mr. Miller is a son of Joy and Joe Grzelak, Hubbard, and Charles and Arvonna Miller, Niles.
The Rev. Timothy H. O'Neill officiated, and a reception followed at The Brentford House. The couple live in North Bloomfield since returning from a honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
A strapless satin gown with platinum embroidery was worn by the bride. A cathedral-length veil accented with crystals completed her ensemble.
Her sister, Stephanie Maiorca-Notman, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Jonette Schweiss, Dorothy Reynolds, Kristen Whited, Danielle Guzman and the groom's sisters, Michelle Miller and Julie and Angie Grzelak. They wore cinnamon-colored gowns. Flower girl was Sarah Wynne.
Jason Morris was best man, and groomsmen were Tim Maiorca, the bride's brother; Don Notman, her brother-in-law; Joe Grzelak, the groom's brother; and Sean Newman, Matt Ruth, Aaron Essig and Brian Estock.
Mrs. Miller graduated from Youngstown State University and is pursuing a master's degree at Slippery Rock University. She is an exercise physiologist at the Heart Institute, Sharon Regional Health System, and will attend its school of nursing. Her husband served in the U.S. Air Force and is an officer with the Ohio State Highway Patrol in Ashtabula.
