XMcDONALD -- Cherie Renee Hart and John Paul Spicer, both of 730 Woodgate Blvd., Ravenna, were married by the Rev. Daniel Kulesa during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Oct. 18 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
Later the daughter of Thomas and Carol Ann Hart, 475 Nebraska Ave., and the son of John and Karen Spicer, 312 Marcella Lane, Cridersville, accepted congratulations during a reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, Youngstown.
The bride, who is using the name Hart-Spicer, graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in integrated life sciences. She is a student at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Rootstown.
The groom, who attended KSU, is an information technology consultant with Kitec Computers in Akron.
Pearls and Swarovski crystals accented the bride's strapless ball gown of candlelight tulle.
The bride's sister, Chaille R. Wray of Austintown, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Mary McDonnell of McDonald, Erin Ort of Pickerington and Soumya Neravetta of Springfield. They wore black dresses. Flower girl was Brayla Mishler of Mogadore.
Brent Spicer of Cridersville was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Robert Shoemaker of Lima, Dennis Cavanaugh of Columbus and Michael Metz of Wapakoneta. Ushers were Richard Wray of Austintown, the bride's brother-in-law, and Virgil Ortiz of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
The couple live in Ravenna.
