Champagne brunch is held to honor Mr. and Mrs. Tibbits for golden event

XFORT MYERS, Fla. -- Mr. and Mrs. Donald D. Tibbits, 8566 Fairway Bend Drive, formerly of Poland, were honored during a champagne brunch Oct. 24 at Brasstown Valley Resort, Brasstown, Ga., to mark their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the celebration were the honorees' daughter and son-in-law, Cathy T. and Tom Sinowski, and son, D. David Tibbits, all of Marietta, Ga.
The former Helen H. Howell and Mr. Tibbits were married Oct. 24, 1953, at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.
Mrs. Tibbits worked at J.C. Penney in Boardman and retired from Penney's in Fort Myers.
Mr. Tibbits retired from Society National Bank in Youngstown and Bank of America in Fort Myers.
The couple are volunteers at Lee Memorial Hospital Health Place in Fort Myers. Their family circle includes four grandchildren.
