Police arrest teen in stolen car who drove through parade, fled

PITTSBURGH (AP) -- A teenager drove a stolen car through the city's Veterans Day Parade and then led police on a chase before he eventually crashed into five cars and was arrested, authorities said.
The chase began just before noon Tuesday when 18-year-old Michael Tolliver was stopped by a Pittsburgh police officer for driving through the parade as it made its way through downtown Pittsburgh, state police said.
During the stop, Tolliver sped away in the stolen car and headed to McKees Rocks, a western Pittsburgh suburb, before he led police back into the city, authorities said.
The chase ended when Tolliver crashed into three cars and two state police cruisers, police said. No one was seriously injured in the crash.
Tolliver was charged with aggravated assault, fleeing police, reckless endangerment and other charges.
A phone number for Tolliver could not be located. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.
