EMERSON COLLEGE, Boston
Andrew Rostan, a 2003 graduate of Boardman High School, has been named an AP Scholar by the College Board, based on his achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Program Exams he took as a high school senior. The program gives students an opportunity to earn college credit and/or advanced college placement based on test performance. Rostan earned an average grade of 4.0 on the biology, English language, English literature and U.S. history exams, qualifying for a Scholar with Honor Award. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rostan of Boardman.
CLARION UNIVERSITY, Clarion, Pa.
Sophomore psychology major Courtney Rambo of Vienna, a Mathews High School graduate, is a majorette on the 2003 Golden Eagle Marching Band. The band performs at all home football games and some away games.
