Nov. 3
Arrest: Police arrested a 34-year-old Struthers man in the 100 block of Lowellville Road and charged him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after an Afton Avenue woman reported her vehicle was not returned.
Bad checks: Police charged a 33-year-old Sharon, Pa., woman with passing two bad checks totaling $415.91 at Party Max, 445 Boardman-Poland Road.
Auto theft: A 1988 Olds Delta 88 was stolen in the 70 block of Lemans Drive.
Vandalism: Three tires were slashed on a vehicle in the 7300 block of Bonnie Place.
Theft: King Collision, 8038 Market St., reported 40 aluminum wheels missing.
Auto theft: 1988 Oldsmobile Delta was taken from a driveway in the 100 block of Clifton Drive.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A Shadyside Drive man reported lending his 2000 Saturn LS-200 to someone and that it was never returned.
Theft: Police arrested a 34-year-old Columbiana woman on a theft charge after a $25 jewelry case was stolen from Marc's, 7121 Tiffany Blvd.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown women, 32 and 33, on theft charges after 13 packs of cigarettes were stolen from Giant Eagle.
Vehicle theft: A 1991 Honda 4-Trax four-wheeler was taken from a residence in the 4800 block of Hopkins Road.
Theft: A man in his late 20s or early 30s stole a $50 pair of tennis shoes from Shoe Carnival, 550 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Two Youngstown boys, 13 and 14, were arrested in the 5200 block of Market Street and charged with theft after a bicycle was stolen from a front yard in the 7000 block of Sheldon Avenue.
Assault: A West Boulevard woman reported being assaulted at a residence in the 7200 block of Vineland Avenue.
Burglary: A woman living in the 4500 block of Grover Drive reported the theft of $2,000 in cash, three bottles of wine and a $125 women's wristwatch.
Burglary: An Overhill Avenue man reported the theft of a Sony PlayStation 2 game from his car in the garage.

Burglary: A 36-year-old Youngstown man was arrested in the 4100 block of Market Street on charges of burglary, possessing criminal tools, resisting arrest and receiving stolen property. A woman in the 100 block of Jeanette Drive reported seeing someone leaving her garage.
Theft: A $135 concrete lion was stolen from a front yard in the 1700 block of Palo Verde Drive.
Theft: A 35-year-old Youngstown man was charged with theft and possession of drug abuse instruments after a $100 basket of beauty supplies was stolen from Bath & amp; Body Works, 379 Boardman-Poland Road. Police found a hypodermic needle in his pocket.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of $260 in cash, a Visa card and a box containing $12,535 worth of jewelry from her residence in the 4600 block of South Avenue.

Truck theft: A 1997 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was stolen in the 5200 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Criminal damage/assault: A man reported a set of spark plugs in his father's vehicle as well as its driver's-side window were damaged while the car was in the 30 block of Overhill Avenue. The man also reported being assaulted.
Theft/forgery: Police arrested a man, 36, and a woman, 40, both from Youngstown, after an employee at Sky Bank, 525 E. Midlothian Blvd., reported two people used a stolen Ohio driver's license to withdraw money from someone else's account.
Theft: A 12-year-old Youngstown boy was arrested on Brookwood Avenue on charges of theft and resisting arrest after two BB guns and a pack of about 600 BBs were stolen from Wal-Mart.

Assault: Police charged a 17-year-old Boardman boy after an Augusta Drive man reported being assaulted in a driveway in the 700 block of Golfview Drive.
Auto theft: A 1989 Buick Park Avenue was stolen in the 7100 block of Locust Avenue.
Burglary: A vacant residence was broken into in the 5200 block of Royal Palm Drive.
Criminal damage: A woman reported damage to her car's paint at Cinemark Movies 8.
Theft: Police arrested a 34-year-old McDonald man on a theft charge after a $150 men's suit was stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Criminal damage: Police reported damage to a yard at Splash & amp; Shine Auto Bath, 869 E. Midlothian Blvd.

Auto theft: A 1991 Pontiac Bonneville was stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Forest Avenue.
Theft: An undetermined amount of money and various files and receipts were stolen from CFC Business Management, 4800 Market St.
Theft: A man in the 7000 block of West Boulevard reported an amplifier, a CD player and two 12-inch subwoofers stolen from his car.
Robbery: Police arrested a 17-year-old Youngstown boy on a charge of aggravated robbery after a Boardman man reported being robbed of his wallet at gunpoint in a parking lot in the 4400 block of Market Street.
Theft: A package of undergarments, a tube of lip gloss and another item were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Auto theft: A 1993 Olds Cutlass was stolen from the American Envelope parking lot, 365 McClurg Road.
Theft: Police arrested a 14-year-old Youngstown boy on a theft charge after a $64.56 air pistol was stolen from Wal-Mart.
Auto theft: A 2000 Chrysler was stolen from Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A 17-year-old New Castle, Pa., boy was charged with theft after a $53 bottle of cologne was stolen from Kaufmann's.
Theft: A garden statue was stolen from a front porch in the 100 block of Maple Drive.
Theft: A plastic donation box containing about $30 was taken from a Wendy's restaurant, 433 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Police arrested five Youngstown boys, four age 14 and one age 12, on theft charges after a $120 pair of tennis shoes, a sweater and a pair of jeans were stolen from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A 14-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with theft after eight pairs of work pants, two work shirts and a man's belt were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: An East Liverpool man, 25, was arrested at Bob Evans Restaurant and charged with theft after two sweat shirts were taken from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Police arrested a 14-year-old Youngstown boy on a theft charge after a $100 Game Boy system was stolen from Target.
Theft: A man in his late 30s stole four cartons of cigarettes from a Rich gas station, 5823 South Ave.
Attempted robbery/felonious assault: A Lowellville man reported someone shot him in the left leg after trying to rob him in the 100 block of West Western Reserve Road.

Theft: A man reported $200 worth of equipment stolen from his car at Tinseltown USA.
Truck theft: A 1992 Dodge Dakota was stolen from Rick Bayus Motors, 5206 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was driven through a yard in the 4900 block of Hopkins Road, damaging 14 landscape lights and the lawn.
Theft: A 20-year-old Hubbard woman was charged with theft after 10 packs of makeup, three greeting cards and three key rings were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: Police arrested two 24-year-old Youngstown women on theft charges after $151 in clothing was stolen from the J.C. Penney store.
Auto theft: A 1994 Olds Cutlass Ciera was stolen in the 4100 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Theft: A 23-year-old Boardman man was charged with theft after a $55 coat was taken from Value City.
Theft: Police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after two pairs of earrings were stolen from Kaufmann's.
Theft: Police arrested a 21-year-old Lake Milton man on a theft charge after a pair of tennis shoes and a $60 pair of boots were removed from Gabriel Bros.
Theft: A Youngstown boy, 13, faced a theft charge after two sets of bicycle pegs and three other items were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A Youngstown woman reported a videotape stolen from her vehicle in the 5500 block of Youngstown-Poland Road.
Theft: Police arrested a 25-year-old Struthers woman on a theft charge after seven cases of soda were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
