GREEN CONVENTION: Twin waterfalls surround a person arriving at the U.S. Green Building Council's second annual Greenbuild International Conference at Pittsburgh's new David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The environmentally conscious convention center is the world's largest such building. The center's sloping roof pulls cool air from the Allegheny River into the building. In exchange, hot air rises and leaves through roof vents.
