Miss Goodman, Mr. Carmean to wed in June

XYOUNGSTOWN -- The engagement of Lindsey J. Goodman, 314 Fairmount Ave., Hackensack, N.J., and Christopher Carmean, 280 Drexel Place, Pickerington, is announced by the bride-elect's parents, Jeanne and Doug Goodman, 3711 Joyce Ann Drive.
Parents of the future groom are Jane and Silas Carmean, 1236 Rosedale Drive, Mansfield.
Miss Goodman earned a bachelor's degree in music at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pa., and a master's of music in flute performance at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. She is a member of the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble and is pursuing an orchestral performance diploma at the Manhattan School of Music in New York.
Mr. Carmean is an assistant band director and percussion specialist with Pickerington Local Schools. He holds a bachelor's degree in music from Miami University in Oxford and a master's of music in percussion from Duquesne.
The couple have planned an evening wedding ceremony for June 26, 2004, at First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for their reception at Tippecanoe Country Club, Canfield.
