XYOUNGSTOWN -- Married Oct. 11 at St. John's Episcopal Church were Kathleen Coats Wick, a daughter of Sallie Dutton of Liberty and George V.R. Wick of San Francisco, and Joel Patrick Beck, a son of Paul and Barbara Beck of Foxboro, Mass.
The Rev. John Wigle performed the ceremony at 5 p.m., and a reception was held afterward at the Youngstown Country Club, Liberty Township.
The bride wore a strapless gown of ivory satin enhanced with clusters of pearls, and held a bouquet of calla lilies, orchids and gerber daisies.
Apple-red gowns were worn by the bride sisters, Erika Carlson of Cincinnati and Emily Carlson of Chicago, who served as honor attendants.
Brian Grable of Lynn, Mass., and Darren Mark of Rochester, N.Y., served as best men. Ushers were Paul Dutton of New York, the bride's stepbrother; James Ferguson of Los Angeles, the groom's brother-in-law; and Jamal Massengale and Kenneth Young, both of Boston.
The bride graduated from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., and is a project coordinator with the Education Development Center in Newton, Mass.
The groom, a feature writer for North Shore Sunday, a weekly publication of the Community Newspaper Co., graduated from Emerson College in Boston.
After a honeymoon in Italy, the couple live in Lynn.
