XYOUNGSTOWN -- A reception was held Oct. 11 at The Elm Tree in Struthers to honor Thomas E. Horton and his bride, the former Joclyn M. Barry, both of 1901 Larchmont Ave. N.E., Warren, following their 1:30 p.m. wedding at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
The Rev. Melvin Rusnak presided at the ceremony, and after accepting congratulations the couple left on a cruise to the Bahamas.
They live at the Warren address.
Parents of the bride are Michele Barry, 320 Melrose Ave., and George Barry, 413 Rockdale Ave.
The groom's parents are Dave and Linda Horton, 3832 Smith Kramer Road N.E., Hartville.
The bride wore a white satin A-line gown adorned with pearls and lace and featuring long sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and a chapel train.
Champagne-brown gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Debbie Barry, and the bridesmaids, Nicole Smith, Dominique Musser, Jamie Dyer, Deanna Canter, Stephanie Ramun, Amy Horton and Kileigh Welsh. Flower girl was Rebecca Ramun.
Mike Schaeffer served as best man, and groomsmen were Paul Shovlin, Dave Hassay, Patrick Barry, Dave Horton, Dave Ramun, Ed Meek and Ken Horton.
The bride is in new-account support for deposit operations at First Place Bank, Warren.
The groom, a project supervisor with Wheeler Landscaping Inc., Chardon, graduated from Kent State University, Salem Branch, with a degree in horticulture.
