XYOUNGSTOWN -- A reception at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles followed the Oct. 18 wedding of Gina Thorne and Darren O'Rourke at St. Christine Church.
The couple were married that day during a noon ceremony performed by Monsignor David Rhodes.
Parents of the couple are Wayne and Linda Thorne of Canfield and Matthew and Doris O'Rourke of Parsippany, N.J.
The couple honeymooned at Sanibel Island, Fla.
The bride wore a white strapless gown embellished with pearls.
Her sister, Susan Caine, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Pamela Machuga and Laura Pugh, also the bride's sisters, and Jennifer Donatelli and Diana Koonse. They wore black gowns. The bride's niece, Alexandra Pugh, was flower girl.
David O'Rourke served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Joseph Moore, Boris Kuchtyn, Daniel Wade and the bride's brother-in-law, Owen Caine. Ring bearers were her nephews, Anthony Pugh and David Machuga.
Mrs. O'Rourke is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing at Youngstown State University. She is employed as an emergency room technician at Akron General Hospital.
Her husband is a driver for Coca Cola Enterprises in Parsippany.
The couple will live in Easton, Pa., when the bride completes her studies at YSU.
