FUND-RAISER 23rd 'A Williamsburg Christmas' is planned



Several local charities will benefit from the event.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Boardman-Poland Junior Women's League will sponsor its 23rd annual "A Williamsburg Christmas" craft show featuring more than 65 juried crafters Nov. 21-23 at Stambaugh Auditorium.
The theme for the event will be "Visions of Sugar Plums."
A preview gala night will be held Nov. 21 with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres, wine and punch will be served. Tickets are $15 per person, and may be purchased from any member or at Rainbow Comics or Clear Channel Communications, both in Boardman.
The craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 22 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children 6 and older. Lunches will be available both days. Those who donate one new children's book on Nov. 23 will receive $1 off admission. The books will be donated to a needy local public school as part of the Ohio Federation of Women's Club's Libraries 2000 and Beyond project.
Proceeds from the show will benefit the following charities: On Angels Wings, Western Reserve Chapter of Compassionate Friends, The Difference Makers, Youngstown Symphony Chorale Group, Challenger Baseball and the league's Community Special Needs fund.
