CAROLYN MCKAYNICHOLAS BERARDINO
XCANFIELD -- Carolyn D. McKay, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas M. McKay Sr., and Nicholas P. Berardino, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald R. Berardino, all of Canfield, were married at 6 p.m. Oct. 3 at the home of the bride's parents. The Revs. Henry Cardillo and Norman E. Crewson presided, and a reception was held afterward.
The wedding date also marked the anniversaries of the bride's parents, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. McCallister Sr., and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Peters.
The bride wore a mermaid-style gown of pearl-white Italian silk. It featured a strapless bodice, dropped waist and a chapel train.
Charcoal-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Seana McCallister, and the bridesmaids, Meghan Brady, Lindsay Cousins, Kelly Navrilla, Suzanne Kovass, Stephanie Kutlick and Jennifer Mihok. Flower girls were Franchesca Cardillo and Lori Grdic.
Christopher Berardino was the best man, and groomsmen were Douglas McKay Jr., Ralph Cardillo, Michael Bushey Jr., Ryan Cmil, Ryan Murray, Donald Ross Jr., Michael Venrose and Matthew Zipay. Ring bearer was Parker Sayavich.
Also participating were Luciano Cardillo and Carson Sayavich.
After a wedding trip to St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple live in Canfield.
The bride graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The groom earned a bachelor's degree at Mount Union College, Alliance, and is employed at the Home Savings and Loan Co. in Youngstown.
