XOLMSTED FALLS -- The wedding of Cara Mitchell and Gordon Petkosh took place at 4 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Grand Pacific Chapel.
The Rev. Bryan Carter officiated for the daughter of Loren and Margaret Mitchell, 360 Montridge Drive, Canfield, and the son of Ray and Liz Petkosh, 11804 Worthington, Cleveland.
A reception was held at the Grand Pacific Hotel, and the couple spent their honeymoon in Hawaii.
They live in Olmsted Falls.
The bride's strapless ball gown of white silk was trimmed with pearls and rhinestones and featured a detachable train. She also wore her great-grandmother's crystal necklace.
The groom's sister, Ann Cortes Lloyd of Norwalk, was matron of honor. She wore an ivory gown. Malena Lloyd of Norwalk, the groom's niece, was flower girl.
Jason Mitchell of Seattle, the bride's brother, performed the duties of best man, and ushers were Leo Miner of Ahwahnee, Calif., the bride's uncle, and Russell Lloyd of Norwalk, the groom's brother-in-law.
Mrs. Petkosh holds a bachelor's degree in interior design from Kent State University. She is employed at Warren-Chaney Office Furniture in Cleveland.
Her husband works at Designer Showcase in Cleveland.
