XRIVIERA MAYA, Mexico -- The beach at the Aventura Spa Place in Mexico, was the setting at 3 p.m. Oct. 22 for the wedding of Amanda Davis and Matt Tranovich, both of 3772 Mercedes Place, Canfield.
Frank and Renee Davis, 12 Willow Way, Canfield, are parents of the bride. The groom is a son of David and Mary Jane Tranovich, 130 High St., Canfield.
The ceremony was solemnized by a justice of the peace, and the couple honeymooned in Mexico before returning to Canfield.
The bride wore an Edwardian-style tea gown that featured an empire waist and tiered netted lace skirt.
A postnuptial reception was held Nov. 8 at The Barn and Gazebo in Salem.
The bride graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is a makeup artist for Urban Decay and Hard Candy Cosmetics and a substitute teacher with Mahoning County schools, and is also employed at Treat Yourself Center for Holistic Health in Canfield.
The groom is a sales manager for Dr. Knoll Products Inc., Canfield.
