GIRARD
Nov. 2
Domestic violence: Police arrested an 11-year-old Girard boy on Washington Avenue on a domestic-violence charge after his sister alleged the boy threw bricks at her and hit her in the face with a rubber hose. The girl had a red welt on her right cheek.
Nov. 3
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a storage garage at a cemetery in the 1100 block of North State Street and removed a leaf blower and a backpack blower.
Recovered property: Police recovered a 1989 Chevrolet Silverado on state Route 82 after a Brookfield man reported it stolen on Trumbull Avenue.
Recovered property: Warren police recovered a 1991 GMC truck after it was reported stolen in the 100 block of Trumbull Avenue.
Arrest: Police arrested a Girard man near Interstate 80 and state Route 11 and charged him with resisting arrest after officers say he tried to pull away from them.
Breaking and entering: Someone tried to pry open a door to a room at the Mahoning Country Club Inc., 710 E. Liberty St.

Oct. 26
Auto theft: A 1992 Honda Accord was stolen from the Holiday Inn MetroPlex parking lot, 1620 Motor Inn Drive.
Oct. 28
Criminal damage: A woman reported finding a large dent in her vehicle's front fender as she drove on Logan Way.
Theft: An employee at KFC, 3309 Belmont Ave., discovered a $1,017.66 cash deposit was not made at a scheduled time.
Oct. 29
Arrest: After pulling over a car for having a broken taillight, police arrested a 41-year-old Poland man at the American Inn, 1600 Motor Inn Drive. Police charged him with criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest, and he was issued several traffic citations. Officers say they found a suspected crack pipe near where the man was arrested.
Auto theft: An employee at Precision Auto Works, 1711 Lincoln Ave., alleged a man, 21, failed to return a 1990 Ford Ranger.
Burglary: Police arrested a 20-year-old Youngstown woman on charges of burglary and receiving stolen property after a woman's boyfriend noticed an open rear sliding door to her Church Hill-Hubbard Road apartment. Two cordless phones were taken. Police also arrested a 25-year-old woman at the residence on a warrant charging her with receiving stolen property.
Arrest: After a traffic stop near Belmont Avenue and Gypsy Lane, police arrested a 30-year-old Youngstown man on three counts of failure to appear in court.
Oct. 30
Arrest: After running a vehicle registration check near state Route 193 and Liberty Street, police arrested a 24-year-old Hubbard man on one count of failure to appear in court to face a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was charged with driving under a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers say they found in the vehicle a suspected marijuana pipe.
Theft: An employee at U.S. Bank, 4700 Belmont Ave., reported a man in his mid-30s shortchanged her $351.

Arrest: After conducting a traffic stop near state Route 193 and Naylor-Lloyd Road, police cited two Youngstown men, ages 20 and 27. One man was charged with having an open container of alcohol. The other man was charged with drug abuse after officers say he admitted having a bag of suspected drugs in his pocket.

Domestic violence: Police arrested a 16-year-old boy at his Sampson Drive home on charges of domestic violence and juvenile delinquency after a man at the residence alleged the boy pushed him as the victim tried to take a set of car keys from him.
Nov. 2
Breaking and entering: An employee at Shultz Oil & amp; Gas, 6470 Belmont Ave., discovered someone smashed two windows and a door window to break in. An undetermined amount of loose change and an undetermined number of packs of cigarettes were taken.
Nov. 3
Arrest: After stopping a vehicle at the Hampton Inn, 4400 Belmont Ave., for having no front license plate and a broken windshield, police charged a 22-year-old Niles woman with driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say they found a spoon under the passenger seat that had suspected cocaine residue.

Auto theft: A 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was stolen in the 100 block of Youngstown-Hubbard Road.
Oct. 31
Assault: A Main Street man reported being punched while he was at a residence in the 100 block of Christian Avenue. He was found with a bloody nose.
Criminal damage: A Hubbard man reported someone kicked his car, at an undetermined location, and broke a taillight.
Theft: A man in the 40 block of Mock Street reported someone took packages that were delivered to his residence.

Criminal mischief: A School Street woman reported someone tossed a pumpkin through her screen door.
Assault: A woman reported her two sons were assaulted while they were in a Hubbard building that served as a haunted house.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 500 block of Meadowland Drive reported her mailbox destroyed.
Nov. 2
Theft: A woman reported an undetermined amount of money missing from her residence in the 200 block of Myron Street.
Nov. 3
Burglary: A woman told police that her sister reported a set of keys missing from the sister's residence in the 100 block of Caroline Avenue, and that someone may have been in the home.
Arrest: Police arrested a Hubbard man at a Rite Aid Pharmacy, 147 W. Liberty St., on a warrant charging him with probation violation.
Theft: A man reported a lawnmower stolen from his residence in the 100 block of North Main Street.
Theft: A man in the 700 block of Jones Street reported various items removed from his truck.
