Summary of recent police activity for Boardman and Poland:
BOARDMAN
Oct. 27
Recovered property: A 1990 Chevrolet Cavalier stolen in Youngstown was recovered in the Neumann Dry Cleaning Co. parking lot, 5315 Market St.
Theft: A vehicle in the 70 block of Lemans Drive was broken into and a compact disc player's faceplate was taken.
Assaults: Police arrested a 16-year-old Boardman boy near Washington Boulevard and Tod Avenue on an assault charge after a Tod Avenue woman reported that her son was punched in the left temple as he waited for a school bus. Also, a Tod Avenue woman reported that her son was assaulted in the same area. The suspect's father said his younger son was threatened.
Theft: An employee at Big Jim's Brushless Car Wash, 283 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered more than $1,000 missing.
Theft: A woman in the 80 block of Lemans Drive discovered a $200 refrigerator missing from her kitchen.
Theft: Police arrested a 15-year-old Columbiana girl on a theft charge after two pairs of pants were stolen from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Criminal damage: Someone shot BBs at American Envelope Inc., 8401 Southern Blvd., damaging six panes of glass.
Arrest: A 34-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested in the 5100 block of Market Street on warrants charging her with theft and failure to appear in court on a theft charge.
Oct. 28
Arrests: After items were stolen from Ambience, The Store for Lovers, 114 Boardman-Poland Road, and Shoe Carnival, 550 Boardman-Poland Road, police arrested two Youngstown women, 22 and 26, and a Campbell woman, 19, on South Avenue. One woman was charged with receiving stolen property, carrying a concealed weapon and possessing criminal tools; another woman was charged with receiving stolen property; and the third woman faced a theft charge.
Vehicle theft: A Grayling, Mich., man reported his Honda four-wheeler missing from his pickup truck parked at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany Blvd., and that someone tried to steal his 2002 Ford F-250 truck.
Theft: A man stole a $210 men's bracelet from International Jewelers in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A woman reported a $300 check, tools and $80 stolen from her apartment in the 4800 block of Erie Street.
Oct. 29
Burglary: Someone broke into a residence in the 4100 block of Windsor Road and took a DVD player and seven men's wristwatches.
Theft: A woman in her 40s reportedly left Dollar Discount, 1280 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying for six rolls of paper towels.
Theft: A woman in the 7400 block of West Boulevard discovered $5,000 worth of jewelry stolen from her apartment.
Oct. 30
Robbery: A Struthers man reported that a man in his mid- to late 20s stole his 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix at gunpoint from a parking lot in the 3900 block of Market Street. The victim's wallet and $60 were among the items taken.
Arrests: A woman, 46, and a man, 46, no addresses given, were arrested at Dunkin Donuts, 6041 Market St. The woman was charged with failure to appear in court on charges of theft and parole violation; the man faced a contempt-of-court charge.
Theft: Police arrested a 68-year-old Warren man on a theft charge after an employee at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road, alleged a man opened packages of tablets and chopsticks and concealed the items.
Theft: Police arrested a 14-year-old Calcutta girl and a 17-year-old East Palestine girl on theft charges after $385.90 worth of miscellaneous clothes was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A 16-year-old Youngstown girl was charged with theft after a $52 bottle of fragrance was removed from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A Youngstown woman reported her checkbook stolen while she was in the Lowe's parking lot, 1100 Doral Drive.
Theft: A woman in the 1400 block of Turnberry Drive reported two political signs removed from her front yard.
Assault: A Canfield man reported that a man in his 20s assaulted his son near Glenwood Avenue and U.S. Route 224.
Theft: A woman reported two campaign signs taken from her front yard in the 6800 block of Colleen Drive.
Theft: Two men stole two sweaters from Jos. A. Bank in the Southern Park Mall.
Breaking and entering: A man in the 6800 block of Tanglewood Drive reported his garage broken into and a $2,000 lawn tractor, a $500 snowplow, three gasoline cans and a hedge trimmer stolen.
Vehicle theft: A 2002 John Deere skid loader was missing from a construction site in the 8500 block of South Avenue.
Assault: A Boardman woman alleged another woman, 28, assaulted her at Perkins Family Restaurant, 804 Boardman-Poland Road.
Oct. 31
Arrest: Police arrested a 32-year-old Lowellville man in Struthers on three warrants charging him with theft, as well as one count each of robbery and theft. He is accused of stealing property from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road; Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road; and Smoker Friendly, 4605 Market St.
Drugs: After responding to a 911 call from an apartment in the 4400 block of South Avenue, police arrested a 31-year-old Boardman man on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers say they found suspected drug paraphernalia and suspected drug-abuse items in a bedroom.
Bad checks: Someone cashed two counterfeit checks, totaling $1,215.44, at Travis Products Inc., 95 Karago Drive.
Recovered property: A 1990 Ford Tempo was recovered after being stolen in the 400 block of McClurg Road.
Burglary: A Trailwood Drive man told police he suspected his neighbor was a burglary victim. A gold wedding band, a ring and $130 was missing from the neighbor's residence.
Criminal damage: A man discovered two of his vehicle's tires slashed while the car was in the 800 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Nov. 1
Arrest: A 33-year-old man was arrested at his Market Street residence and charged with complicity to trafficking in drugs.
Theft: A rear Ohio license plate was removed from a vehicle parked at a Wendy's restaurant, 433 Boardman-Poland Road.
Assault: A man alleged a 24-year-old woman assaulted him during an argument at their residence in the 800 block of Cook Avenue.
Burglary: A man in the 100 block of Alburn Drive reported finding a rear door to his residence ajar; about $1,000 in change, a 19-inch TV, two men's wristwatches, two men's rings, a $500 gold necklace and $120 in cash were missing.
Theft: A woman reported a $150 fur coat, a purse and other items stolen from her vehicle parked in the 4200 block of Stratford Road.
Auto theft: A 1995 Honda Accord EX was stolen in the 7000 block of West Boulevard.
Theft: A man, 32, took a $60 pair of tennis shoes from Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Police arrested a 54-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after $1,630 worth of miscellaneous perfume and clothing was stolen from Target.
Theft, criminal damage: A vehicle's passenger-side door lock was damaged while the car was at Cinemark Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road. A $300 car stereo, two subwoofer speakers and an 800-watt amplifier were taken.
Auto theft: A 1994 Acura Integra was missing from a parking lot in the 7400 block of Huntington Drive.
Arrest: A 24-year-old Ellwood City, Pa., woman was arrested on South Avenue on a warrant charging her with passing bad checks.
Theft: Police arrested a 46-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after four packages of crab meat were stolen from Aldi's, 6131 South Ave.
Theft: A woman, 23, and a man, 33, both from New Castle, Pa., were arrested on theft charges after $651 worth of clothing was stolen from Kohl's.
Arrest: A 52-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at a Speedway gas station, 649 E. Midlothian Blvd., and charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
Nov. 2
Theft: A 47-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at the Mahoning County jail on a theft charge after a $429 pipe cutter was stolen from T.R. Equipment Rental, 4627 Market St.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 400 block of Annawan Lane reported that two 8-foot sections of vinyl fence in her front yard were broken and damaged.
Criminal damage: Someone drove a vehicle over 150 feet of a lawn in the 500 block of Deer Run Drive, causing about $200 in damage.
Theft: A woman in the 4000 block of South Schenley Avenue discovered two single air mattresses and a double air mattress missing from her camper.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown girls, 13 and 14, on theft charges after $115 worth of costume jewelry was stolen from Kaufmann's.
Theft by deception: A man reported being deprived of $2,795 while he was at Sound Solutions, 7301 West Blvd.
Theft: A Boardman girl, 16, was charged with theft after a bra and a bottle of lotion were stolen from Big Lots, 7110 South Ave.
Burglary: Someone broke into a residence in the 800 block of Cove Place and removed a Sony PlayStation 2 game system, 15 PlayStation games and 10 to 15 DVDs.

Stolen property: A woman reported a metal table and two metal chairs missing from the rear of Encore by Casal's, 16 N. Main St.
