Shoes for the needy
AUSTINTOWN -- Drs. Lawrence and Catherine Karlock and John Flauto of Austintown Podiatry Associates Inc. are announcing their annual shoe drive for the needy. Donated shoes may be dropped off in their offices at 1300 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown; 7000 South Ave, Suite 4, Boardman; and 2460 Elm Road, Warren.
Thanksgiving dinners
COLUMBIANA -- The Way Station, a faith-based, nonprofit organization, is taking reservations through Nov. 15 for the annual community Thanksgiving dinners. The free dinners will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 26 at Columbiana, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 27, Thanksgiving Day, at Lisbon. The Way Station of Columbiana is at 42131 state Route 14. The Way Station of Lisbon is at 9 S. Park Ave. Meal delivery will also be available from both locations. Christmas assistance
COLUMBIANA -- The Way Station will offer Christmas assistance to needy families through the Adopt-a-Family program. Families may register from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 11 and 12 at the Columbiana and Lisbon locations.
